To know one’s own limitations, deficiencies, the fragments of oneself is the beginning of creating wholeness. View the study sheet here. Watch the recording here.
Great leaders know their own limits. They build teams and recruit others who have skills and knowledge that they do not. They disperse authority and empower others. This acknowledgment of one’s limitations is not easy. It can provoke anxiety for the individual everyone is looking to for guidance and counsel.
The Torah highlights for us several moments of such anxiety when decisions needed to be made and leadership demonstrated. What links those episodes are not narrative words but music. Join us here at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) Thursday, March 25, as we explore Torah cantillation, the music note shalshelet and fragmentation which leads to wholeness.
