On the eighth day of the inauguration of the Mishkan, Aaron’s sons Nadav and Abihu rush unbidden and unprepared into its very heart, bringing with them their burning passion for God. They are…consumed. Every week we too are placed on the threshold of an eighth day. The symbols and ritual of Havdalah remind us of the importance of separating from intense holiness in order to make holiness real in the world. Join us here at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) Thursday April 8 as we explore sacred division.
